Former school board member; Oregon State Public Employee Relations Board (1973-1975); State of Oregon Criminal Justice Council (1992-1993, Chair); volunteer assistant football coach (Sheldon High School 1986-1989), and Kidsports Football Coach (1983-1985).

 

Professional presentations have been made to various insurance, commercial, judicial and bar groups in Oregon, Washington, California, Idaho, Toronto, and New York.  Articles have been published in both state and national journals.

Sex abuse cases and bankruptcy reorganization plan involving the Archdiocese of Portland; sex abuse cases involving other churches and organizations; construction defect cases involving several developments such as Trendwest, Southshore, The Capes, several condominium projects throughout Oregon and residential mold cases; the Springfield Rock Quarry case (commercial reorganization case), intellectual property cases, employment cases involving both the public and private sector, numerous tort and medical malpractice cases, the Hyundai semiconductor plant (construction case), and the breast implant litigation in Oregon.
