RALPH F. COBB

 

Education:

Yankton college, BA

University of  South Dakota, LL.B., 1948

 

Practice Experience:

Mr. Cobb was admitted to the South Dakota Bar in 1948 and the Oregon State Bar in 1949.  He has been a partner in the law firm of Luvaas, Cobb, Richards & Fraser for 47 years.  His practice emphasizes matters of litigation, both plaintiff and defense.

 

Professional Activities:

Mr. Cobb has been involved in many activities of the Oregon State Bar, including Chairman of the Litigation Section, Chairman of the CLE Committee, and Chairman of the Committee of  Sections.  He has also served on the Board of  Governors of  the Oregon State Bar.

 

Mr. Cobb is a member of ABOTA, and was Oregon Trial Lawyer of the Year in 1998.  He is a fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers.

 

Locally, Mr. Cobb has served as President of the Lane County Bar Association and as President or Chairman of a number of local civic organizations.

Mr. Cobb is a past member of the Governing Board of  Sacred Heart General Hospital.
