Practice Experience:

Thomas E Cooney is a privately practicing attorney in Portland since 1956, having practiced most of his career in the defense of civil litigation and health law.  He has participated in many arbitrations and mediations throughout the years as a party and as a  mediator/arbitrator.  He is available as  a mediator and/or arbitrator for all forms of civil liability claims.

 

Professional Activities:

Thomas E Cooney is a member of the Multnomah Bar, Oregon State Bar and American Bar Association.  He is a fellow of the American college of Trial Lawyers (past state chair) and a diplomat in the American Board of Trial Advocates.  He has been the recipient of the MBA professionalism award and has served on the MBA Board of Directors.
