Practice Experience
Peter Glazer has been a trial lawyer since 1978. After three and one-half years in the Clackamas County District Attorney’s office he opened his private practice in Lake Oswego in 1982. Peter Glazer built a trial practice of personal injury, insurance and family law (dissolution) litigation.
Peter Glazer estimates that he has participated in over 1,000 mediations and judicial settlement conferences. He has more than 20 years’ experience as an arbitrator both on panels (UM, UIM and PIP) and as the sole arbitrator on Multnomah and Clackamas County mandatory arbitration of civil cases.
Professional Activities
Peter Glazer served as Chair of the Uniform Civil Jury Instruction Committee, served on the OSB Procedure and Practice Committee, and has spoken on tort and insurance topics at numerous CLEs. He is a member of the Gus Solomon Inn of Court.
Peter Glazer served on the Governor’s Advisory Committee Against Drunk Driving for 17 years, and as its Chair under four Oregon governors. He is a past president of Lake Oswego Rotary Club and a past Assistant District Governor for Rotary District 5100. Peter Glazer was Prime Minister of the Royal Rosarians in 2008 and was also President of the Clackamas County Bar Association in 2008.
