USA&M of OREGON FEES

Flat Rates: Half-day / full-day rates are available for some panel members. Cancellation Policy applies.

Mediator/Arbitrator Hourly Rates: Rates depend upon panel member chosen - call for current rates.

Panel members are entitled to compensation for all time spent on the case, including preparation time, telephone time, attendance at the mediation/arbitration session, and one-way travel time when the session is over 20 miles from USA&M's offices or the panel member's office. Compensation for extraordinarily long travel time will be negotiated on a case-by-case basis. Panel members are also entitled to reimbursement for full mileage, long distance charges and parking.

Administrative Fees for Hourly Rate Mediations & All Arbitrations – covers the costs of obtaining agreements to mediate/arbitrate, negotiating the terms of a mediation/arbitration, the exchange of relevant information, scheduling, billing, and disbursement of funds to panel member(s).

Mediation: Fees will be billed after the mediation (except under certain circumstances)

2 parties .................................................................... $175 per party

Arbitration: Fees will be precollected

UIM, PIP, UM: 2 parties .................................................................... $175 per party

ALL OTHERS: 2 parties .................................................................... $250 per party

3 or more parties ....................................................... $70 per additional party

Additional daily room charge for parties requiring a room for 11 or more people - $275

Three-Panel Arbitrations: A flat fee of $675 is charged (precollected) for the scheduling of a 3-panel arbitration.

Focus Groups, Neutral Case Evaluation, Private Trials & Appeals: Costs are dependant on process designed, please call for a quote. (precollected)

CANCELLATION POLICY

If a case settles or is withdrawn after a notice has been sent a cancellation fee of $350 will be charged along with any time that the panel member has spent on the case. If USA&M of Oregon receives notification of the cancellation less than ten (10) business days prior to the scheduled session a cancellation fee of $500 will apply along with any time the panel member has spent on the case. Please note that some panel members also charge an additional cancellation fee. If cancellation is not by mutual agreement, the party requesting the cancellation will be billed and responsible for all fees due.

If a case is rescheduled more than once a $100 fee will be charged for each additional reschedule.

Please note that the agreement to render services and fee agreement is between US Arbitration and Mediation of Oregon and the attorney or representative of the entity or person as well as the entity or person represented.
